The dragon king is not the dragon in this picture. It’s the elf on the right.
Playing with digital art is a way for me to kill time when anxious or exhausted (and with chronic fatigue, the latter happens quite a lot). In this case, I decided to try my hand at the two characters of one of our two regular game groups.
My character, on the left, is a tall wood elf archetype with a complex background and severe PTSD. The other character, on the right, is a short city elf type who became king of a dragon clan more or less by accident and natural death (the heart stopping when a sword is inserted is an entirely national process). He didn’t enjoy it. Nor did the dragons. Everybody was happy when he passed the crown on to somebody more scaly.
Painted in oils in Rebelle 8.
